The legend of Pierre Pizzicato is an interesting one. Based in part on myth and folklore, Monsieur Pizzicato lived in the 19th century. An obscure figure, his mother and father were French and Italian, respectively. (His full name is thought to have been Pierre Debonaire Lunaire Staccato Marcato Legato Pizzicato.) However, it is believed that his ethnicity also includes Polish, German, Irish, and Moorish origins. It is said that his mother was a direct descendent of the 4th Muse and his father's bloodlines can be traced to the 13th century Roman Catholic ordine geometrico.
Pierre's early education consisted of science, mathematics, language, and music studies; he also trained in military tactics and weaponry. Although it was Pierre's father who purchased his first guitar, it was his mother that nurtured her son's musical interests. (Pierre's father, himself an inventor and former military officer, considered the field of music too impractical concerning the necessary means to make a living.) He studied with the great guitar virtuosi of the day: Luigi Legnani, Mauro Giuliani, and Fernando Sor. Pierre played for the great Italian violinist, guitarist, and composer Niccolo Paganini, the most celebrated virtuoso of his time. He also studied composition in Vienna with the ageing Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach (Johann Sebastian Bach's son), and with Ludwig van Beethoven. (The Debonaires were one of Beethoven's earlier benefactors, and Giuliani, one of Beethoven's inner circle, wrote a letter of recommendation for Pierre.)
Reports indicate he was a successful man, yet was buried in an unmarked pauper's grave. (There is data to support that Pizzicato considered knowledge to be a far greater value than wealth and was less preoccupied with the latter.) Some considered him to be one of the most interesting man that lived while other accounts state that he could be equally boring. Pizzicato could be too predictable while at any given moment very un-predictable. He was called a poet-warrior, a sinner-saint, a logical/ill-logical man and a "acquario mistico" by several of his collogues with whom he associated. After some romantic turmoil, he fell in love and married the beautiful Princesse de l'Extreme-Orient and by all accounts was quite happy.
Pierre invented a Nth dimensional time-based telepathic portal, which enabled him to span and travel several centuries (past as well as future) - metaphysically. It was Pierre that conceived of and invented an early machine apparatus (a long distance communication prototype which transmitted telegraphic speech) of what we now know as the internet, and presented a paper, based on his experiments, to the Akademie der Wissenschaften. An astonished audience, they nearly revolted while casting disdain and accused Pizzicato of sedition and "wissenschaftliche irrlehre" (scientific heresy).
Little is known of his whereabouts after 1855, but research suggests that he may have died in a duel au pistolet. Nevertheless, his legend continues as he remains an illusive figure shrowed in mystery and controversy. If you know of any information regarding Pierre Pizzicato, kindly let me know.
